When and how did you start making lofi beats?
I started writing Lofi Beats when I first moved to Bristol, England at the end of 2019. I have played the Saxophone since I was 8 years old, and the soft textures of the horn seem to blend beautifully with Lofi.
What inspires you the most?
Sounds super corny but when my passion and love for life is represented in a piece of music. I usually think about a person or a situation and write around it, if I finish something I’m proud of it can truly feel like I’ve captured lightning in a bottle!
If you could go back in time, what year would you like to go to and what would you like to be able to tell yourself?
I’d go back to 2004 when I first went to Glastonbury Festival, and tell myself that this place will change your life, so keep coming back!
What is the story of "Trip"?
Im obsessed with 60’s/70’s sounding effects. As a kid my Dad used to show me the old Peter Sellers ‘Pink Panther’ movies, and the vibe of sunny France with some cinematic high end strings used to set a tone of an idealistic life. I wanted to capture the sound that within a lofi beat.
